Located in Bay Lake, Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando at Flamingo Crossings is within a 15-minute drive of popular attractions such as Walt Disney World® Resort and Disney Springs™. Great location and full of potential once a few of the pandemic kinks and start-up quirks are sorted out-minor first-world issues. This place is obviously experiencing the shorthandedness that most businesses are (no pool towels for 30 minutes even after we asked, late on opening the kiddie slide, limited menu at the pool bar, etc.) but I would certainly love to return once the area is built up a bit more. My kids asked about using the soccer field and basketball court which I saw advertised but were told by the desk that they didn't know the code as we were in town for a sport's tournament and I know they were looking forward to using those things. There was a good variety of food available and the dining room was very nice. The pool area was very nice with plenty of chairs, parking was great-there is a garage so you will not burn yourself in the hot Florida sun when returning. I wish staff had emptied the dishwaser from the previous guests as I was on vacation and do this at home-I did not want to do this on vacation. Staff was friendly and quick as we checked in. The room was very large, clean and modern. This is also very close to Disney without all the Disney, 192 or I-Drive traffic. Once there are restaurants and shops open, everything will be within a stone's throw away. ![]() This area of town is on the verge of a boom. ![]()
